YOMAD will take place in Rovinj - Rovigno, D'Istria, Croatia, September 20 - 28, 2013.
The YOMAD Festival aims to celebrate Nature through yoga, music and dance.
The event brings together yoga teachers and practitioners, tai chi teachers, music performers and music lovers, dance performers and dance teachers/therapists in the beautiful natural surroundings, resorts and streets of Rovinj - Rovigno, Croatia.
Rovinj- Rovigno, (2,5 hours to Venice, Italy by boat) is called “the most romantic city on Adriatic coast”, it's small streets covered with stones with Adriatic panorama vista are attraction for itself. Rovinj - Rovigno is surrounded with a cedar wood park – Punta Corrente and beautiful beaches and has a couple of interesting islands near by.
Day Programs of YOMAD will be held on the meadows of park Punta Corrente and in dance & lecture rooms of hotels Park and Eden in Rovinj. Evenings will be reserved for musical and theatrical performances that will be held at a special locations on islands of Sancta Katarina and Red Island. On Sept. 21, a Saturday night, after a concert of spiritual music by international musicians there will be a whole night celebration of Autumn Equinox.

The Oak Association has several years experience in organizing Soulfest - solstice and equinox celebrations in Istria which were visited by hundreds of people from Croatia and Slovenia. All these celebrations were held in a natural environment with nature as stimulant and intention to raise energy through dance and musical jamming.
We know & feel that many yoga and dance practitioners will come to YOMAD Festival to spend an amazing weekend practicing yoga, tai chi and chi gong methods, taking dance workshops, enjoying music, sound healing meditations and joining drumming jam sessions.

Oak Association is registered Non-profit organization in Rovinj-Rovigno, D'istria, Croatia, Europe. We hold yoga classes, sound healing sessions and retreats and we cook daily vegetarian meals. Many people of Rovinj – Rovigno find our 5 Elements Center as place of inspiration, finding new energy and stress relief. We also have a 5 elements guest house with lodging options for up to 20 people.
